1 Killed As Driver Hits Power Poles

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City police responded to a fatal car accident early Saturday morning.

Officers said Jason Teaney, 21, crashed near East 43rd Street and Sterling Avenue at about 1:30 a.m., hitting several light poles.

Police said Teaney was speeding when he lost control and hit the poles.

No one else was injured in the crash
